The piece in context
Evolving Skies arrived in August 2021 at the peak of the modern Pokémon boom, then went out of print faster than almost any Sword & Shield set. Its Eeveelution alternate-art rares became the defining chase cards of the era, and demand never returned to normal after distribution ended.
Sealed English displays from this set have behaved less like product and more like a scarce asset. Every box opened permanently reduces the surviving sealed population, and the pull rates behind that scarcity are well documented.
Case-fresh: original factory wrap, undisturbed crimps, square corners and no shelf wear or sun fade to the printed panels. Stored flat in temperature-stable archival conditions since arrival.
