The piece in context
Exodia closes Legend of Blue Eyes at LOB-124 and remains the most theatrical card ever printed for the game — assemble all five pieces and the duel simply ends. Its role in the animated series cemented that reputation before most players ever saw the card.
Exodia is the second pillar of vintage Yu-Gi-Oh! after Blue-Eyes, and the head piece is the one collectors chase. It also anchors the five-card Forbidden One assembly, one of the most satisfying set-completion projects in the hobby.
As with all LOB 1st Edition Ultra Rares, centring and foil surface limit high grades severely. The Gem Mint census is small and grows only in single figures per year.
PSA 10 results have moved firmly into the five figures, tracking the broader repricing of early English Yu-Gi-Oh! as that generation of players reaches collecting age.
